You’ve got to be kidding me.
Maybe you guys can read this? But it’s a very interesting article from a reputable political science-type journal.
I’ve taken an entire course just on this one conflict and I will tell you that this goes beyond the impasses of American politics. This isn’t just ideologies against ideologies. This is religion, ethnicity, politics, ideology, history, anger, international pressure, fundamentalism and just a whole bowl of human stupidity and stubbornness.
Something is going to have to change. And I think it will. Soon. And I only hope it falls to the good instead of the really, really messy and, frankly, terrible.
Woah. This isn’t good. War in the Middle East does not sound like a good idea to me. History suggests the West sucks at it and the West would undoubtedly get sucked into it.
Here is some news from Africa. Very interesting in that I don’t think you get to see often so much careful planning and coordination shown in the news. Usually I feel like people do the “they decided to attack and so they did” method, but this brings up and illustrates a lot of the problems and such surrounding the issue, which I find awesome.
*facepalm* oh my goodness America. What is this? 1860? I mean, if you really want to make Obama into Lincoln, that’s fine, but if I recall correctly seceding from the Union didn’t go so well for those that did.
And of course, they won’t be able to. If the “South” didn’t secede during Civil Rights, I doubt they’ll actually do it now. But this is still SO DUMB.
Didn’t expect to hear about this while away!
